Let’s use technology to keep our Cursillo spirit alive! All Cursillistas, Families and Friends are Welcome! Ultreya schedule for January through April.
On December 8, the CICC Secretariat reviewed the Covid -19 guidelines still in place at the St Joseph Retreat Center, the Diocese and the State of Indiana and considered the importance of having authentic, close and meaningful spring Cursillo weekends. It was decided that we should cancel our weekends scheduled for March 5 - 8, 2021 (Men’s weekend) and March 19 - 22, 2021 (Women’s weekend) and wait until our regular first and third weekends in October 2021. We are saddened to have to cancel another weekend, but we all felt that it was the socially responsible thing to do based on the information that we have today. We ask everyone to continue to pray for the continued growth of our Cursillo Movement during these challenging times. May the Lord be with you and your families during this Christmas season and always! We look forward to a blessed New Year!
Even though the Cursillo weekends in October are canceled, we still would like to continue our tradition of conducting our 72 Hour Prayer Chain. Click news title for more information.
We are encouraging all Cursillistas to intentionally pray the prayer to the Holy Spirit on a routine basis for continued depth and growth in our movement during this time. Click title to go to prayer.
We welcome Tom Scimeca as our new Lay Director. Tom is not new to the Secretariat. Previously he has served as Assistant Lay Director from Lafayette. Tom is excited to begin his new role with the Central Indiana Cursillo Secretariat.
Thank you to Jennifer Burger for serving as our Lay Director for the last three years. Jen has given countless hours to the Central Indiana Cursillo Movement.
After a thorough review and discussion of Covid-19 polices and guidelines set forth by the State of Indiana and in place at the St. Joseph Retreat & Conference Center, and in consideration of the 3-day Cursillo experience that would be compromised and the safety and well-being of those attending the weekend, the CICC Secretariat has made the difficult but appropriate decision to cancel the Fall 2020 weekends. Men’s Cursillo #123 and Women’s Cursillo #112 have been postponed to the Spring 2021 weekend dates. Let us continue to pray for Cursillo and the needs and intentions of all Cursillistas during these challenging times. De Colores!
